Today we mark 75 years since the D-Day landings at Normandy, with many commemorations take place throughout the country to remember the Second World War battle.
We are incredibly proud and excited to be so close to a huge commemoration taking place on Saunton Sands beach during the weekend of June 15-16. Saunton D-Day is the only living event of its kind and is one not to be missed. Military vehicles, planes and WWII living history groups will fill the three miles of golden sands and be accompanied by a packed programme, including special performances by The Liberty Sisters at the Beachside Grill (weather dependent). Make sure you don’t miss out on what will be a fascinating and memorable weekend.
