At the end of September we wished farewell to our managers Tony and Dawn Peard who have been with us for ten years (six as managers). It is a demanding role and we are so grateful for their dedication and hard work in what have been increasingly difficult times, particularly this year. Also leaving Lobb Fields are Kevin and Jo Lee who did much to keep Lobb ‘alive’ in the early part of this season, so that we were able to open later in the year.
Thank you Tony, Dawn, Kevin and Jo for all your hard work and we wish you all good wishes for the future.
I am delighted to welcome Selena Cook and Tim Roberts who are now in post as our new managers. Many will remember them from their time here as wardens, and more recently at the Lobb Shack. With their enthusiasm and drive I feel they are ideally suited to the job, particularly with their personal love and experience of camping and travel.
We are still open in our present mode until October 31. The new managers are looking forward to meeting returning visitors as well as greeting new ones. So, if you are able, come along and join us for one last break before winter.
We are now looking for new wardens to join our superb team for next year. If this is something you are interested in, please get in touch.
We wish all our friends a happy winter and much look forward to seeing you again next year for which we already have lots of bookings.
On behalf of the new team, who will do their utmost to make your stay here at Lobb a fun, happy and safe one, we are hugely looking forward to a fantastic 2021 season.
Jeremy Smith-Bingham, and the Lobb Fields family.
