North Devon has so many great all-weather attractions that the whole
family will enjoy. Here are just a few attractions we’d recommend
Quince Honey Farm
Pay a visit to the busy bees at Quince Honey Farm, a family run working honey farm which has been producing the sweet stuff since 1949.
Experience a menagerie of wildlife from around the world, just 30 minutes’ drive from Lobb Fields at Exmoor Zoo.
The Milky Way
The Milky Way is a great family day out. With roller coasters, indoor adventure play and live shows, there’s loads to do. All the rides are included in the entrance fee, so you pay once and enjoy as much as you like.
The Big Sheep
Whatever the weather, The Big Sheep is a fantastic family day out. With its famous sheep racing, indoor playzone, outdoor laser games and the Big Sheep Brewery, there is something for young and old alike.
Discover and learn all about the aquatic life of North Devon at the award-winning Ilfracombe Aquarium – a fun and educational day out for the whole family, in any weather.
Enjoy a grand Victorian Castle experience packed with fascinating treasures and displays, plus a fabulous theme park including rides and play areas, all set in beautiful landscaped gardens.
Combe Martin Wildlife and
Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park is set in a subtropical paradise with all sorts of birds and animals to see, as well as animatronic dinosaurs – whose sheer lifelikeness will add up to the perfect family day out.
Steeped in history, Tunnels Beaches has award-winning facilities including the cafe blue bar, the play hut (indoor soft play) and beach shop. They’ve been rated the third best beach for rock pooling in the UK by BBC Wildlife Magazine.
North Devon Wake Park
Only 10 minutes away from the coast, North Devon Wake Park boasts the best of both worlds. Their stunning lake is situated in beautiful fields of and is accompanied by a wooden clubhouse, undercover decking and luscious grassed areas; a perfect day out in Devon.
Go and climb on their huge four-level play frame. Slide on the tubes slides and bumpy slides. Play on the crawl tubes, ball cannons ball pools, log ramps, punch bags, and soft blocks. Swing on rope bridges, spider webs, dangly snakes, gliders and scramble nets. Enjoy all this and so much more including a specially dedicated area for under 3’s!
