Part 1 of our Holiday Itineraries guide was full of action, so we’ve included some more chilled suggestions for Part 2.
North Devon is the perfect place to take the kids, with plenty of beaches, nearby attractions and lots of things to do. For a family day out, head to The Big Sheep – only a 30 minute drive from the campsite. Older kids will love Battlefield Live and can learn to drive an electric quad bike, while the younger ones can meet the animals and be entertained in the soft play area. Or for teens, visit The Milky Way Adventure Park, with theme park rides and live shows. Head over to Croyde for surf and stand up paddle boarding lessons, and browse the shops for treats and postcards.
Relax and rejuvenate
With glamping options available, Lobb Fields is also a great place to take some well deserved rest and recovery. Our partners at Native have a huge range of bell tents which are cosily furnished and delightfully decorated to make your stay that extra bit special. Once you’ve settled in, head over to Saunton Sands Hotel and visit their spa. They currently offer massages, facials and beauty treatments, but their expansion this autumn will bring a thermal suite, even more treatments and a rooftop sun deck. For the ultimate rejuvenation, do some yoga on the beach with Bay Fitness. Sessions run several times a week in locations such as Saunton Sands Hotel and Croyde beach. Or, head over to Saunton Sands and bliss out for the day. We won’t blame you!
