After having the warmest May on record, we had one of the hottest summers on record – with temperatures here in North Devon reaching up to 30°c, thank Heavens for our coastal breeze!
Luckily, we’re close to so many amazing beaches that our visitors are never too far from a splash in the sea and an ice cream – the perfect summer if you ask us. We’re now heading into the last few weeks of the season and the weather is still looking favourable for a break away and the sea temperatures are still pretty warm. Check out our What’s on page for local events happening in October, and plenty of nearby attractions – lots of them only a short drive away – there’s loads of half term and Halloween events planned in North Devon to keep everyone entertained.
